Matthiesen, Wickert & Lehrer, S.C. (“MWL”) is pleased to welcome Zeeshan Iqbal, a new litigation associate, to the firm’s Santa Ana, California branch office. Zeeshan (who also goes by “Z”), graduated with a finance degree from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California. He went on to attend and graduate law school at Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas, where he was a recipient of the Harvey M. Richey Moot Court Society Professionalism Award and competed in Baylor’s prestigious Mock Trial Competition. Zeeshan will be a welcome addition to the subrogation litigation team in our California branch.
When Zeeshan isn’t working, he loves being outdoors at the beach or going on hikes. He also enjoys playing and watching basketball (go Lakers and Warriors!). When he is home, he is either reading comic books or trying something creative in the kitchen. He specializes in baking cheesecakes.
Zeeshan will primarily be handling property and casualty, workers’ compensation, and automobile subrogation cases throughout California and the Pacific Northwest. He believes strongly in preparation and aggressive investigation of subrogation potential on behalf of a client as well as making every effort possible to resolve a matter before suit is filed. His goal is to win the case before the complaint is even filed. Zeeshan will provide support to one of the busiest branch offices within the MWL family. We look forward to the work ethic he brings to the firm, and eagerly welcome him to our growing family of subrogation professionals here at MWL. On behalf of the partners, associates, legal assistants, and support staff here at MWL, we would like to welcome Zeeshan. We would also invite our clients and friends to introduce themselves to Zeeshan, who can be reached at ziqbal@mwl-law.com.
