Biography

Logan D. Smith is an attorney in our Wisconsin office, where his practice focuses on personal injury and insurance litigation, including liability evaluation, damages assessment, negotiation strategy, and case resolution. He plays an active role in preparing matters for depositions, mediations, and trials, applying a detail-oriented, fact-driven approach to every stage of litigation.

Before joining our firm, Logan gained extensive experience in civil litigation through roles in both plaintiff-focused and defense-oriented environments. His responsibilities included drafting motions and pleadings, preparing mediation and pre-trial materials, conducting statutory and case-law research, coordinating with experts and witnesses, and managing client communication throughout the life of a case. He also supervised law clerks and contributed to workflow improvements that strengthened case-management efficiency.

Logan earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Law, earned honors in tax courses, and served on the Marquette Sports Law Review as a member and later Associate Editor. He was active in the Mediation Clinic, Sports Law Society, Dispute Resolution Society, and the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, where he assisted with matters involving employment, landlord-tenant, and family law issues.

He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Alabama A&M University, where he was a seven-semester Dean’s List student, NCAA Division I baseball team captain, and recipient of multiple academic and athletic honors.
