Biography
John D. Kimbrough III is the managing partner of Matthiesen, Wickert & Lehrer, S.C.’s Jacksonville branch office. John is licensed to practice law in Florida and his practice focuses on workers’ compensation subrogation, Occupational Accident Plans, auto collision, Med Pay and PIP, complex and large loss property subrogation.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the College of Love and Charity, Florida A&M University in 2016 and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2019. Prior to joining MWL, John was the lead litigation attorney at a prominent community association firm in central Florida. During his time at his prior firm, he litigated hundreds of cases and had several trials. John is an aggressive and passionate litigator who ensures that his clients obtain the best results either in or out of the courtroom.
Fun Fact
John is very active in his local community and is a youth pastor at his church and a Florida high school wrestling referee. When not at work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and enjoying a good fantasy novel.
