Biography
Angie Kim is an attorney in our Irvine, California office. Angie’s practice focuses on insurance coverage, Medicare subrogation, and workers’ compensation subrogation. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, where she earned a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine.
Angie comes to the firm with an exceptional background in Medicare and insurance subrogation matters. She spent 15 years as an Attorney Advisor with the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, where she handled Medicare Secondary Payor subrogation claims against casualty and workers’ compensation insurance carriers and was recognized as the highest-producing attorney in the nation. She also served as a Detail Attorney with the Department Appeals Board, drafting appellate-level decisions, before most recently working as an Associate Attorney at Helton Law Group, representing corporate clients in civil litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
