Texas has more roads than any other state in the country. It has over 15 million licensed drivers on the road and its residents own and operate more than 8 million automobiles—twice as many as New York or Illinois and more than any other state other than California. Nearly all of them travel on Texas roads and highways and are covered by automobile insurance. This translates into a whole lot of subrogation opportunities. State Farm insures the most cars in Texas, followed by Progressive, Allstate, GEICO, Country Mutual, USAA, Nationwide, Liberty Mutual, Texas Farm Bureau, and Hartford—all proud clients of MWL. In fact, Hartford was our first subrogation client back in 1983.
On May 1, 2019, MWL celebrated the opening of its new Austin, Texas office. We want to thank our many automobile subrogation clients by offering a special one-hour webinar focusing on the nuances and details of Texas automobile subrogation.
