Biography
Kevin Tung is an Associate Attorney at MWL’s Irvine, California office. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Kevin’s legal background includes experience at a Global 200 law firm, which is also one of the largest China-based firms with nearly 15,000 lawyers worldwide. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, which allows him to navigate cross-border legal issues and communicate with international clients.
During law school, Kevin spent a summer with the Beijing office of an international law firm headquartered in Los Angeles with over 1,000 attorneys worldwide. While there, he assisted with research related to CIETAC arbitration matters and separate projects involving the CISG and international contract issues. He also competed in the ABA Law Student Division Negotiation Competition, where he developed practical skills in legal strategy and advocacy.
These experiences laid the foundation for his current work in subrogation litigation at MWL, where he brings a methodical approach and a strong understanding of legal processes to the firm’s national practice.
Fun Fact
In Kevin’s spare time, he enjoys working out, being outdoors, and going to the beach.
