Biography
Ella M. Schmidt is a Paralegal in our Hartford, Wisconsin office, where she supports Mark Opalisky and Logan Smith, as well as handling subrogation efforts through careful claim evaluation and liability analysis. Her background in the legal field enhances her ability to navigate complex documentation and support efficient resolution strategies.
She earned her degree in paralegal studies from Moraine Park Technical College, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, case preparation, and administrative support. Her education provided her with the organizational skills and legal knowledge that now inform her work managing claims and supporting subrogation efforts at Matthiesen, Wickert & Lehrer, S.C.
Ella brings a detail-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a dedication to client service that make her a valuable member of our claims team.
Fun Fact
Outside of work, Ella enjoys spending time on the water and has been an avid water-skier for over 17 years. Whether skiing, boating, or simply enjoying a day on the lake, she’s always up for fun lake activities and values the time spent outdoors with family and friends.
