Bree A. Madison is a senior litigating attorney in our Hartford, Wisconsin office. Bree’s practice focuses on complex property and casualty subrogation along with workers’ compensation and automobile subrogation cases in Wisconsin and across the country.
Bree has a wealth of litigation and insurance claims experience, including preparation and trial of cases in both state and federal court. After eight years of litigating with one of Wisconsin’s premier litigation firms, Bree joined Allstate Insurance Group as a senior trial attorney where she litigated a large docket of property/casualty and subrogation cases. In 2017, she joined the Milwaukee law firm of Conway & Josetti, LLC, representing insurance companies and litigating bad faith, coverage dispute, and E & O cases. Most recently, Bree served as Deputy Corporation Counsel for Brown County.
Bree graduated from Marquette University Law School, where she was a member of the pro bono honors society. She studied in Beijing, China, as a 1L, and participated in Marquette’s “Alternative Spring Break” program as a 2L, traveling to New Orleans to provide legal services to victims of Hurricane Katrina. She earned her undergraduate degree from Washington State University.
Bree is a lifelong horseback rider, and in 2013 earned championship ribbons from the Wisconsin Hunter Jumper Association in the Adult Amateur Hunter and Equitation divisions. She spends as much of her free time as possible with Jo, her retired Thoroughbred racehorse. Bree is also a dedicated servant to Edgar, a European Boxer dog, and Leonard, a loud orange cat.
